My experience was ruined by the lack of soundproofing. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms and outside. The pool may look appealing, but it's freezing and unusable when you want to relax. To top it off, the room service was abysmal, with our food often showing up cold and unappetizing. I can't believe I paid this much for such flawed service and amenities.

The staff are most friendly, polite and courteous. This is the single most important element that makes this hotel stand out among similarly priced hotels. The yoga pavilion and the spa are also excellent facilities.
Only a limited number of villas have expansive views.

We loved our stay at Uma Ubud. We had a pool villa and it was worth every penny spent. The food, spa, restaurant, bar exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, service, attentiveness and knowledge of the staff. Looking forward to our return visit already. Highly recommended if you are after a relaxing, luxurious and memorable stay.

would be happy to recommend for a short weekend trip
charming atmosphere, attentive staff, the service was really good as they greeted us by name throughout our stay and provided a delicious breakfast that overlooked a beautiful koi pond.
Everything was exactly right.

Uma is an experience of pure luxury; buy for pampering not for cost or even value for money. It is a boutique resort with a very limited number of guests that can afford and enjoy the pampering on offer. The facilities are spectacular. Highly recommend a massage before chilling out poolside.I Also enjoyed the guided tour through a local village and visitation to the home of locals.

Staff is friendly and they really takes care of you. They made everything you need possible. Breakfast time is a very good experience.
It is not very important as the hotel has a shuttle to bing you to city center, but ii is a little bit away from the town.

A fair review, pros and cons
Food quality is great, with good breakfast selections and excellent Italian dining options. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and attentive.
The air conditioning in my villa struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, affecting sleep quality. Some areas can feel crowded, particularly around the main pool, disrupting tranquility.

The Garden Pool Villa was fine with an very nice jungle view. Super spacious and comfy-definitely a luxurious vibe. The private plunge pool was refreshing, and the mosquito netted beds made sleeping a dream. Attention to detail was on point, and everything was pristine. Loved hanging out on the big covered verandah. Reminded me of a little paradise!
